Automated Test Engineer (SW)
Location: Warren, New Jersey (5 Days onsite)
Job Description:
Ability to develop and maintain automated test frameworks and tools in Python.
Skills in XML, Visual Studio, and C# are a plus.
Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Bitbucket.
Ability to build and work with open-source DU projects.
Experience with test execution, results collection, and report generation.
Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and high-speed oscilloscopes.
Experience with Linux and Windows operating system configuration.
Understanding of applicable wireless technologies (e.g., LTE, 5G-NR) and industry standards (e.g., 3GPP).
Knowledge of security TLS, Certificate Authority, SSH, SFTP, and FTPES.
Knowledge of networks, IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, VLANs, fiber, SFPs, and Netconf.
Knowledge of system synchronization techniques such as NTP, PTP, and PPS.
Job Responsibilities:
Crafting, implementing, and maintaining automated test tools and frameworks in Python for validating O-RAN radio products.
Providing support for unit-level radio functional and performance integration.
Providing support for system-level radio unit verification.
Providing support for new product integration tests.
Performing troubleshooting to determine the root cause of test issues and test failures.
Driving continuous improvements of test processes to ensure flawless execution.
Offering consistent progress reports to internal collaborators to guarantee shared vision and effective project goal achievement
