Position Overview:

Seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide essential therapy services for students within San Juan BOCES . This role focuses on helping students enhance their functional skills to succeed academically and in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat students with a variety of occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' development.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school personnel to integrate therapy into learning environments.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to improve fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily functioning.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
• Participate in school-based meetings and contribute to students’ educational planning.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Colorado (CO) OT license .
• Experience in a school-based setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt therapy strategies to diverse student needs.

Schedule & Commitment:

• Full-time position , offering both 4-day and 5-day schedule options.
• Contract runs from August 4, 2025 , for 42 weeks .
• Placement within San Juan BOCES , supporting multiple students across grade levels.
